Description
The Emporia Public Library is the oldest library in the State of Kansas. Since 1869 Emporia's library has grown with the city.
The Emporia Public Library is located at 110 E. 6th Avenue in downtown Emporia, at the corner of East 6th and Mechanic Street.
EPL is across the street from the William Lindsay White Civic Auditorium and next door to the Lyon County Historical Museum. It is also nearby the Emporia Arts Council.
There is free parking at the Historical Museum, as well as on the parking lot on Mechanic Street opposite of the library. Free two-hour parking is also available along Mechanic Street.
