Live in the Lot Taking Applications

EMPORIA - Flint Hills Music, sponsor of the popular summer music series "LIve in the Lot," will take applications to perform for the 2008 season starting in mid-March.
The concerts are held on Wednesday nights through the summer at the Farmers Market Kiosk located in the parking lot at 7th and Merchant. Music usually begins around 7:30 p.m. Flint Hills Music and many participating bands offer give aways throughout the evening. There is room for dancing, and occasionally the concert is followed by an outdoor film from Emporia Main Street.
Everyone is encouraged to attend, bring a lawn chair or blanket and a cooler to enjoy a variety of styles of live, local music. For more information, go to flinthillsmusic.com.
