Abandoned house destroyed in fire

An abandoned house was destroyed in a fire Saturday evening.
The abandoned home, located at 1300 Road 190, was reported on fire at 9:40 p.m. According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, the landowner of the home, Steve Jacob, did not start the fire. The fire was put out, but the structure was completely destroyed. Fire Marshal Tom Andrews is investigating the fire.
