Description: First annual grassroots festival held on Independence day plans a 5K fun run/bike ride at Sodens Grove at 7am. A parade at noon. A festival in the Farmer's market lot at 7th & Merchant at 1pm, followed by a street dance, same location, at 6pm to 9pm. Bands will be Black Tuxedos and Between the Lines, and the dance will be done in time to go watch the fireworks at Jones Aquatic Center.
